We were over at the lovely Shottle Hall a few months ago, and we were blessed with mostly decent weather! Theresa our bride was getting ready upstairs, right across the hall from where Ian was preparing, so we spent a bit of time scooting back and forth to capture a few details.
Once Ian was all set up and looking good, we got one of my favourite shots of the day before the wedding even started...
During the ceremony we got a few shots safely out of the way at the back, before finding a cosy corner to capture the couple signing the register.
After a few arranged group shots, most of the afternoon was spent capturing a more documentary style of work.
Theresa and Ian were up for a stroll around the gardens and grounds despite the cool weather and fading light, and it sure was worth getting cold for a while - what surroundings!
Luckily our bride and groom were up for braving the cold, and it turns out the fading daylight got us a nice dramatic shot before we packed up and went in :)
Others, of course, had the right idea and never ventured out!
Congratulations Theresa & Ian!
